you were the poet now you're the poem
indulging in red high-heeled vision games

clothes smudged in green and yet prepare parcel
someone in the audience utters how participants pause

she keeps insinuating that Genghis Khan is more of the same
he eats squid boiled in its own ink while seething in anger

baseball stadium conclusive in adjacent airport corpse
insert a soldier's injury into the swimming pool

one body collapses in a bathroom far away
time in Venice cuts waves into rivulets

horse hospital 20 minutes by bus
tourist with new weather engages in boating facilities

"It was fun, wasn't it?" he smiles
clutching credit card receipts

she crawls small to toes
quick, stand up, catch the chicken in triangles

foul-hating angel mercilessly beats it
black and blue earrings dangle listlessly

he said: "put your breasts on the table" so I did
carefully removing my orange glitter pasties

together they jump out a stained-glass window
hiccupped barbells on their sapphire breath

flow flat as though mist eases hand
august arrives in chalk patches on pavement

sharkskin suits, alligator shoes and meat jackets
allow her sons to catch rock 'n roll diseases

symptom: foliage blends closer in cold air
diggers thrift vinyls as they exemplify fashionable plates

state of turmoil defines green lawn teeth
cocaine-addict barbie apologizes to dress cutter

creases clip, tongue vanishes on nipple
her conversation door suckle scraps of apricot knots

suitcase spills with fabric inhabited by twins
soiled politicians must appear self-deprecating

clusters cling beneath their bicycle frocks
two high school girls arrested in random swimming stabbing

the bathtub drain swallows circular alphabetics
perfect curve balls strike out the poor

prolonged exposure to vertebrate recedes to airport collapses
urgent as salmon hours carefully folded in islet map

he steals the phrase "tightrope over void," looks over his shoulder
but no one's noticing so he stuffs it in his left Wellington boot

receive sand, legs though so much waiting
drain lamp, vague stitches smear on sleeve

meatheads cleave shaven cellotape ears
rubber sticks clearly mesh cold-cocked love

swimmers summarize the distance in surgical scars
staged groupies rub against inflammable thighs

skate scraping to browse shingles is an easier promise
only foot in mouth agrees to put silver spoon up ass

contestant collapses on fabric
scissors scrape salmon, girl unbuttoning lilacs in lamp

the untidy half circle of his world closes noose lasso
frenetic tripsters free fall flat on Magellan-skinned carpet

roof samples tethered to skull snag on cadaver practice
participants complain skin vulnerable to horse alteration
